How is it that some women can lie about taking thier birth control to their men?
Why would a man want a woman who lies like that to be the mother of their child? isnt that kinda entrapment?

my exes gf did this and he found out before they had sex (dull sex life with her) but really what kind of woman lies like that?

the kind that wants to use a baby as a way to lock the man into a relationship.
KoKo KiTTy | Feb 04, 2010

The kind with no ethics. I have an 11 year old conceived while I was on bc and it pissed me off. I can’t imagine being tricked into it.
ouragon | Feb 04, 2010

 Most women do that.
Hello | Feb 04, 2010

I’ll tell you… But shh!! I need to whisper it in your ear or they’ll kick us out of here.
That kind of woman is called SELFISH MANIPULATIVE B*TCH!
Beware…
There are lots out there.
Lulu | Feb 04, 2010

 to lie is to speak
You are funny. Always use a condom.
momfirst101 | Feb 04, 2010

The average American woman is like that. Look dude, a large block of them are taught that they are a princess. They really do believe it is all about them and what they feel, what they want, etc. They think that everyone is suppose to give them what they want, when they want it and is suppose to make them happy. Look at many of the answers on here. What do you see? If it makes you happy, if you are unhappy, yahda, yahda, yahda. Plue women are able to pull about any kind of crap and still get by with it and also rape the guy in court. So you figure it out. The woman who does such things is not the exception, she is the rule. Now all the woman will scream and complain when they read this, but just watch women, listen to them and see if they do not prove me dead on right.
consider_this_today | Feb 04, 2010

a manipulating woman who only cares about what she wants.
in her world she thinks she is ready to have a child and play happy families forgetting about the unborn child or the person who is fathering the child.

he is crazy to pursue a intimate relationship with this woman if he isn’t ready to father a baby.
Georgie | Feb 04, 2010

The really insecure kind who doesn’t really believe that anyone, given a free choice, would want to marry her and have kids with her, perhaps? I’m guessing the girl who did that was kinda unbalanced.

Break up or stay together?
I’ve been with my girlfriend for 2 years now. I love her alot and we never fight. She’s a really good girl, finished her AA is now in nursing school, and did i mention she’s a good girl? My problem is that growing up I always thought I’d be with a smart down to earth type girl. Even though I love my girlfriend, at times I get annoyed with her. She grew up in a rich neighborhood, was very sheltered, and parents had cash money to spend all day. I on the other hand didn’t have any of that. I grew up with a single parent(mom), moved around numerous times, went 9 schools growing up. And I wish we had money like that. But I get annoyed with my girlfriend because she’s kind of an air head, I don’t get it, when it comes to college she’s smart as hell. She can read a book and remember everything the first time around. It’s amazing. When I say bimbo it’s because she not real street smart, and sometimes she says things she shouldn’t when she’s around people. I understand thats how she grew up and she knows no evil but sometimes I get irritated. The first time she came to visit me (el monte) she was all scared. SInce we’ve been together she’s learned so much. Also too I don’t get how she passed high school with a 4.1. She’s college smart but somethings that everyone learns in highschool she barely knows. I always tell her it was prolly because her looks. So I think should I stay with her because I know it’s a promising future? or Should I break up with her? And I come to think of it now because she wants to get engaged and I’m not sure if I want to marry her because I don’t want my personal issues of getting annoyed by her to end our marriage. I always told myself if I got married and had kids I would never get a divorce no matter what. I love her alot, she’s absolute gorgeoous but I jus don’t know. another thing sorry- I have had 2 incidents with her stupid ass sister. She seems to hate me for some reason. Well now she’s trying to be my friend because she noticed how her whole family loves me and talks to me way more then her. but her sister has made me look stupid twice now by putting me down in front of family and friends which are absolute lies.
thanks

If you love her and she loves you and nothing will change that, the stay together.
Its hard to find love. And no matter what, relationships and marriages are going to have rough spots.
But, you can work them out together.

However, If you’re uncomfortable around her or her family.. or you feel you have major doubts.. talk to her about it before you break up. It might help if she understands the problem..

If you really love each other, you two will figure it out.
best wishes.

What are some songs that can relate to the themes and characters in "The Picture of Dorian Gray"?
I have an English project centered around the book, and I wanted to incorporate the idea of a ’soundtrack’ to the novel in my presentation. The problem is I only found about seven songs that can fit the characters, plot and themes in an iTunes library of about 1200. So… Does anyone have any songs hat could fit "The Picture of Dorian Gray"?

How hard/easy is it to switch to bassoon?
Hi, I’ve played piano for 11 years and french horn for 6. I’ve always wanted to play bassoon but really only seriously started thinking about it now. I already read bass clef from piano so it would really be an embouchure switch. I also have pretty small hands (I can play octaves on the piano comfortably but I can barely reach a ninth). How hard/easy would playing bassoon be? Thanks,

it shouldnt be too hard. i play both. the bassoon ranks as the 3rd harest instrument for an adult to learn however. behind 1. violin. 2. piano

How can I cut off my clean off off pipe for sewer and make it flush to the ground?
I know how to do it but its a piece of 3" of ABS-1 pipe and if I cut it off the clean out adapter will fit flush on the piece I cut off and I would want it to actually fit over the pipe instead of flush in order for the cement to hold it in place. How would I do this? The city did a very poor job of putting these sewer lines in they are very ugly in our yards and ABS are pipes that are used in mobile homes not houses.

ABS is code for drain lines. It lasts a long time, and roots can’t get through the joints.

Buy a 3 inch coupling at the local hardware store. You can cut the pipe with almost any kind of saw. Get a decent hand saw, and you will have it forever.

 edjumacation | May 11, 2007

A hacksaw will work quickly. You can always take the blade out of the saw and use it freehand, though it won’t cut perfectly straight–though with PVC and ABS fittings there is a lot of play involved in the final fit.
Peter | May 11, 2007

Purchase a new clean-out adapter and glue it onto the pipe at the correct height after cutting to length. It is next to impossible to get the piece of pipe out of an adapter after it has been glued. Home Centers sell the adapters and glue. If the current pipe is long enough, you could also use a coupling in between the adapter and the main pipe. You would need about 2" of pipe on the adapter and 2" on the pipe coming from the main.
sensible_man | May 11, 2007

The bigger the blade of the saw you use the straighter the cut will be. With a 3 inch pipe a hacksaw will angle as you cut. Use a crosscut wood saw. The blade is wider and will make the cut straight across.

Time for another baby?
I have one daughter who is 19 months old.I have always wanted to have my children close together, but didnt plan on having her so soon therefore, I didnt think it would happen. I do not regret her in anyway even though she was total surprise! She was such a good baby and is a very well behaved/ smart toddler. Ever since she turned one and started walking, I have had baby fever! I ignored it, started school and have been trying to do the right thing and getting my education! 2 semesters later, I cannot ignore the baby fever anymore! I want another baby, and so does my husband! He has been bugging me for the last few weeks and it is so hard to tell him no when I want it so bad!

I start my clinicals in the fall and have had permission to take off a semester if needed to care for the baby. We plan to TTC in April or May, maybe even June to ensure I have the baby after the first of the year. We are shooting for February that way I have around 6 months to be with the baby.I would be betting and hoping my pregnancy will not be too complicated as my first was a nightmare! The only upside to this is that I will have a full summer to get over morning sickness and fatigue. I would be around 4 to 5 months when starting clinicals.I would have to go through my first semester pregnant and I would obviously have to take off the Spring semester and I already have the summer semester off so I would have a few months with the baby as well as some time to freshen up on a few things for school.

In the back of my mind, I cant stop thinking this may not be the best decision because nursing school is very complicated and time consuming. I seem to balance my schedule very well right now with one and actually have a lot of extra time on my hands. I do not have to work as my husbands job pays well enough for us to get along just fine without a second salary.

So, heres my question…to moms/dads or anyone who is going or has went through something like this…

Is nursing school manageable with 2 kids? I have a great support system as well as free daycare for the majority of the time. My husband works 2nd shift and can help care for the baby as well so he/she will not be at a daycare ALL the time. My work load will be a little lighter as I have taken most of the classroom required classes. I will just have a few general classes and clinicals. No one semester should exceed 12-15 credit hours.

Opinions? I really do want a baby but I dont want to get in over my head and end up dropping out and ruining my dream of becoming a nurse!

Nothing rude please, I dont usually put my personal life out here like this, i just need some opinions/ advice! Its strange because I am usually on the other end giving the advice!

I am in the same boat as you and would really suggest you think really hard about how you are going to juggle going to school and having another baby. Nursing school is hard takes alot of concentration. DO you think you will be able to handle your clinical while being pregnant and having all those pregnancy symptoms if you think you can i would go for it. I want to get pregnant while in school finishing my schooling as a unit clerk so one day i can be a nurse as well but my problem is i will have 3 kids not 2 lol..

Try to think of every siutation that would take place while you are at school and any problems that could arise that would prevent you from finishing, if it seems like to much wait a while.
Mommy to princess McKenzie | Feb 04, 2010

The only caution I would bring up is sleep deprivation. Its not as easy to nap when the baby naps if you need one due to a sleepless night as it is with only one child. However, if your husband is that supportive and will help with the baby during the nights, go for it. Also, a second pregnancy is usually not as difficult as the first with morning sickness, etc. (I feel like I need to include a disclaimer here-ha ha!)
shir | Feb 04, 2010

I am a single mom of 2 and work full time. I found out i was pregnant with my second when i found out my now ex was cheating on me, so no not planned. yes there is a lot of stress that goes with 2 mine are 21 months and 3 1/2 months.
benefits
they will grow up close
diapers will end and not have to be started all over again
you remember a little more of what to expect (granted every child has there differences)
2nd child most likely will hit milestones quicker due to older sibling
older siblings assistance, throw diapers away, help entertain
downsides
older siblings assistance yes this is on benefit too, tries to much too help, they don’t always understand and do try to do too much
stress of 2 wanting you at the same time, 1 starts the other is bound to
tired you just got used to sleep again and now you up again and no you won’t always be able to sleep when baby does

remember it is your decision and even though my 2nd was a OMG I love her to death and I honestly could not imagine my life with out her in it. i wouldn’t trade it for anything in the world. yes it is stressful but if you decide to do it make sure you include your oldest in as much as possible. it really does lessen the jealousy issue, they feel needed and wanted and involved.
Stacy | Feb 04, 2010

I got pregnant my last semester of nursing school, I managed being pregnant while in school however I didn’t have any other children, hes my first! I had 2 gals in my nursing program who were also pregnant while in school, one delivered #3 at the end of our 1st semester, and the other gal delivered #4 at the end of our 2nd semester, they both managed the craziness of kids and nursing school very well but they had a very supportive family.
So it isn’t impossible but I am sure its trying and exhausting,
Are you going for your LVN, or RN?
If your LVN you could finish the program and do your LVN to RN or BSN online

Why in the World are "The Who" headlining the Super Bowl?
I mean, I understand that the guys who run the NFL are pretty gun shy after Ms. Jackson’s wardrobe malfunction, but Tom Petty and now The Who?
I’m a 42 year old white guy and even I hate the Who! They were over rated in the 1960-70’s when they were good! Now a bunch of 60 yr old guys with the only great player dead will dust off some 40 year old songs and try to look relevant?
What IS this crap? What about the Rolling Stones, Fall Out Boy, some country singer or a hot chick?
But The Who? Quick survey, how many people now more than "Pinball Wizard" and "Won’t Be Fooled Again"?
Hell, what about Led Zeppelin, KISS, Black Sabbath or even Journey with the Filipino singer??
But The Who????
Has there ever been a more over rated group since Dexy’s Midnight Runners?
WHAT is wrong with having a decent Superbowl group who has been relevant in the past 25 years??
What gives???
I keep hearing Zepp broke up, so did Sabbath! Cannot they reunite? Like 50% of the original Who is better than Bonham’s son on drums with Plant and Page? C’mon people!!
Isn’t the SuperBowl young, hip and violent? Sure, why not Fall Out Boy, they have sold millions and are hard but not heavy, like Van Halen, why not them? Even they are fresher than the Who!
I have been in bands since I was 16, Iron Maiden, Metallica, Thin Lizzy I grew up with, I accepted the Stones, Zep, Sabbath, Pink Floyd and the Who as British invaders. But c’mon, what Great songs do they really have?
What about AC/DC??
Much better than The Who, even "The Police" are better than the Who. Even U2 is better.

We need fans of American football to headline – British soccer, Rugby and Cricket fans should NEVER sing at the halftime of a game they don’t understand or care about.

Rolling Stones? Paul McCartney? The Who?

Uggh!!!

Prince was the best recent show – Let’s get a Prince/Reba duet!!!

Bring back the Grambling Marching Band from Super Bowl I perhaps? Put them in a stage show with Fleetwood Mac performing the USC band’s part in Tusk! Now that would be Football.

I do agree that they’re overrated, but at least they actually play music and aren’t some Disney Channel fabrication.

They should get the Wu-Tang Clan though.
The Who really are a great live band. They put a lot of energy into their live performances.
Plus it’s highly unlikely there will be any wardrobe malfunctions.
"Who are You", "Baba O’Reilly"(everyone thinks its called teenage wasteland), "Squeeze Box","My Generation" just to name the first one’s that came to mind in 2 seconds. The Stones already did a halftime show a few years ago. Led Zeppelin?,, um,,, they disbanded in 1980 after Bonham died. Kiss? No way that Gene Simmon’s ego could fit in a football field. Sorry if ya don’t like the Who. I don’t really think that an old band with only 2 original members out of 4 is a great act either for the halftime show but,, its only 15 or 20 minutes. WHO CARES! lol
I agree that The Who without Entwhistle is kind of pointless, but to say that they were overrated is simply wrong. They were one of the greatest bands in the history of Rock and Roll, period. I can probably name dozens of their songs with no difficulty. I’ve seen them live several times, and have most of their albums on vinyl. OK, I’m prejudiced, but so are you. We won’t convince each other, that much is obvious.

Now, as to the others you listed. Journey would be a joke. Even when they were popular, they were never the caliber of band one would associate with the Super Bowl halftime show. Kiss and Sabbath, while a bit cloer to that level, are still a bit down the list, and certainly are not the type of family-friendly act the NFL wants. The last time the NFL went with A- (Instead of A) list performers was when the Janet Jackson fiasco happened. Ever since, they’ve been getting top, Hall of Fame level, acts. The Stones just did it four years ago. Fall Out Boy, I’ll assume you were kidding. Zeppelin is not together. Whether you like them or not, The Who have always been a great stadium act, and this is the right stage for them.
first off all…..KISS sucks, and second, Led Zeppelin broke up in 1979 after jon bonham(the greatest drummer ever!) died

the who is pretty tight…saw them in 03 with robert plant opening…good show! tom petty sucked last year and i can’t stand janet jackson and justin timberlake…i believe this will be better than the last few half time shows
Ctownbrown | Jan 25, 2010

 Oh, how about **** YOU!!

The Who are arguably one of the most talented and influential bands ever. If you are honestly implying that bands like KISS, Fallout Boy, Sabbath or Journey are even close to The Who, then you should be shot. Even at the age they are, they can still rock the sh** out of a show. And if you are legitimately a 42 YO Fall Out Boy fan, you may want to reconsider the direction of your life. I am only 18, and I can appreciate real talent when I hear it. Pete Townshend is one of the greatest song writers ever. so suck on that
Moon the Loon | Jan 25, 2010

The fact that you claim they are overrated means you either don’t actually like rock, or haven’t researched what you are talking about. For *decades* The Who has been regarded as one of the top three rock bands, along with Zeppelin and the Stones.

And the irony is further compounded by your mention of "overrated" and "KISS".

And I would much rather have a group perform that is ‘good’, rather than ‘relevant’. Whatever than means.

Plot: A sudden death tied to a list from the past leads to unimaginable evil. Fresh out of law school and full of hope for the future, Renny Jacobson is stunned by his father’s sudden death—and then by the terms of the will: the elder Jacobson has left the bulk of his estate to charity. For his only son, he has left nothing more than the contents of a deposit box and interest in a company no one has heard of—the Covenant List of South Carolina, Ltd. When Renny encounters lovely Jo Johnston, meets the members of “The List,” and discovers the staggering value of his father’s mysterious bequest, his hope is resurrected. But why is Jo, to whom he is deeply attracted, so reluctant for him to claim his rightful share? Renny feels the supernatural power of the 140-year-old covenant—feels it and wants it for himself. But when his life and Jo’s begin to unravel, he is forced to face the truth about “The List.” And nothing short of a miracle will save them from its grasp.

 It’s going!
In and out.
Like a bumpy road!
Into the sunset.
Off a cliff.
Round and round.
In all directions at once.
Exactly like it’s suppose to!
No one knows.
In a spiraling fashion.
Down….down….DOWN.
Up, up and away!
Oh, it goes baby!
Dyno-MITE!
Like a sluggish sloth swimming in molasses in winter.
Like a dirty diaper.
Like a heart-attack.
Flat-lined!
Smooth and easy.
As peaceful as a country road.
Smooth as sandpaper.
