Question about tom brady?
How come this past season tom brady didn’t have a good season, and how come he couldn’t repeat what he did in his last full season playing in 2007. Just look at these numbers.
2007: 50tds, 8 interceptions, 68.9 percentage, 117.9 rating, 4,806 yards,
2009:28 tds, 13 interceptions, 65.7 percentage, 96.2 rating, 4398 yards
He dropped off by 22 tds, had 5 more interception, lower completion percentage, and lower rating. Not to mention he wasn’t no where as affective in the red zone. WHy do you think this was why did he drop so much. He still had moss and welker and watson. His o-line was the same not to mention a couple good backs. So why couldn’t he produce like he did his last full season. Also would you put the blame all on brady for why the patriots didn’t have a good season. Was it because he couldn’t produce like in 2007.
He just came back from an injury so you cant expect him back in his prime

It’s because much in the way that they rose to the top, they are slowly falling from it
The Pats don’t own that division anymore so haters best well get used to it.

Because his team is getting old, he’s injured and not as good as everybody likes to pretend that he is. He has also managed to show what a sore loser he is throughout the course of the season. Brady is a little GQ biatch that needs to go away forever.

His O-line isn’t as good as it was 2 years ago.
Randy Moss is getting up there in age.
They lost Stallworth which was a huge lost.
He also cracks under pressure and seen alot of it this past year.

Brady is still as good as ever!! and I believe he has at least one more superbowl run left in his arm. The problem for the Patriots this year was their defense. When you lose players like; LB Teddy Bruschi, S Rodney Harrison, LB Mike Vrabel, DT Richard Seymour you are going to feel the effects. These where all game changing players, and when the defense struggles the of fence struggles with it!!!

Tom Brady did have a good season. He will never repeat what he did in 2007. That was a freak season. Maybe he still had Moss, Welker and Watson, but Watson didn’t play as well as he did in 2007. The other problem is he had to play the Jets twice in 2009 and Darelle Revis totally shut down Moss in both games. In 2007, Light, Koppen and Mankins all played better than they did this season.
Also in 2007 they had a third WR threat with Donte Stallworth. The Patriots defense this season wasn’t as good, which meant Brady and the offense had less time of possession. Enemy defenses also figured out how to stop the Patriots in 2007, but not until the end of the season.
The game against the Ravens and the Eagles showed that the NFL defenses were beginning to figure out how to stop their attack. The Ravens actually had the Patriots beat and blew the game because a Ravens coach called a time out on a 4th down where the Ravens D stopped the Patriots.
The Eagles game was also close, not to mention the Giants game at the end of the season. I guess the point I’m trying to make is that defenses couldn’t figure out how to handle the Patriot offense for the first 10-11 games of the season.
Tom Brady didn’t have a good season, he had an excellent season. Get used to this being as good as it gets. Seasons like Tom Brady’s in 2007 come once in a lifetime for a quarterback. The only way he can repeat is if the NFL further messes up the rules making it even easier for offenses to score.
If you compare the NFL rules before 1978 to the current NFL rules, then you will understand why you can not compare offensive records from the ’80s, ’90s and ’00s to offensive performance in the ’60s and ’70s. The kind of stats Brady, Roethlisberger, Rivers, Manning, Schaub all put up this season would have been virtually impossible back in that era.
So unless the NFL really jacks up the rules, you can forget about Brady ever having a season like he did in 2007. If you’re a Pats fan don’t be too upset. He’s still a great QB with many good seasons left in him. Your expectations need to be a little more realistic.

Darelle revis happened to him… twice

Don’t worry, I’m sure the rules committee is busy making Brady friendly rule changes.
It will probably be a personal foul against the defense anytime Brady throws an incompletion.
Touch his precious personage? Automatic ejection and a three game suspension.
