How many words do you think it will take to write this book?
Hey! I wrote the blurb earlier and i’ve started to write chapter one. you dont have to read all that as its effort lol! but i was just woundering how long you think it will take to write? im in my teens, remember.

‘Midnight’ is about a very beautiful girl called Midnight who is haunted over her childhood. She has the most amazing eyes which are not just unique but they allow her to have control over any other being she meets. Midnight, only ten years of age, finds out that her mother and grandmother is plotting to kill her in fear of Midnight being a vampire or witch. They don’t succeed and the police charge her mother with attempted man-slaughter and goes to prison. Midnight is then forced to remain living with her father; her best friend. This seems like a dream to Midnight, who has always disliked her mother because of the way she treated her whilst her father always blessed Midnight and believed in her true potential. Midnight, now only thirteen, is distrought when she gets a very worried phone call from the hospital claiming her father has cancer. Sadly, two days before Midnight’s fourteenth birthday, her father dies and Midnight has to go to an adoption home. She attemps suicide many times but she always seems to live…
At fifteen Midnight runs away from the care home and meets a boy called Gabriel. Midnight and Gabriel fall in love, but she feels- always- that somethiing is missing. As they both age close to eighteen and move into Midnight’s fathers home they get engaged. She falls pregnant unexpectedly and at that time her life feels perfect but she always has that thought that she should know something she didn’t. Haunted by a reccuring dream of a cottage she sets on a journey to find the place in hope of finding out more about herself. As the story progresses you find more out about Midnight’s childhood and the reson behind her mothers actions.
There are many twists in the story and the ending is arrupt after Midnight finds that her father was a vampire meaning she is half vampire too. Sarah, a close vampre friend of Midnight’s father, gives Midnight a reassuring letter left from her father before he died, explaining her heritiage and leaving an address to meet more vampires to convince her more. After arriving at the address she meets a vampire called Jarad and the void is finally filled that never is with Gabriel.
Shes getting married in two weeks time, who will she choose… Her always devoting, caring, reliable fionce or this new, messy, cold character who she knows nothing about?
No one knows. It varies. Either it could take you a year to write 100 pages, or a month. Word count is IMPOSSIBLE to measure. Don’t limit yourself. Get off the Internet and WRITE!!!
