Originally Rocky was to die in the end but that got changed i think at the last moment.

Stalone went through 6 months of extreme boxing training.

The boxer he faces in it is a real life i think middile weight former boxer.

they asked him just not to fight at 100% capability to at least make the fight good.

every hit, cut, blod, everything was real.

thats something you dont see much done by hollywood.

the place they fight was designed after actual HBO boxing, including at least one real HBO announcer.

The story line is great. Im glad they got everyone they could back.

Mr T was supposed to cameo as a announcer or something but for some reason didnt.

I think this one is pretty good. It’s definitely better than 5 (the worst Rocky movie in my opinion) and gives a much better sense of closure for the series. It’s a must see for any Rocky fan. Besides, there’s some good one-liners for Paulie and the movie comes with such a great sense of nostalgia for the first couple of movies in the series.

Ahh, I Just Dont Know What To Do About My Homesickness Anymore…?
Well, I moved to Australia from the Uk about 4 years ago now, and ever since I came here I just cannot bring myself to call this place home. I love the place; I think Australia is a beautiful place to live, and I have nothing against the country. But, ah, I dunno, I just cant seem to settle. Even though its been so long now.
Im such a family orientated person, and not having hardly any of them here is just so hard, I cant even explain in words how much it hurts to be honest (I have mum, dad, and my sister here)
Sure I talk with family on the phone, and same with friends, but i can see how much they miss me, and its not the same at all. Anyone who has every been homesick will know the feeling that just hearing someones voice without being able to hug them or show any affection besides saying you love and miss them isn’t enough to take the homesickness away.
I try to take my mind off it, I really do. And it works.. for the time being. But as soon as I get home, and just sort of, have some ‘me’ time, I go back to be miserable old me again.
Ive tried talking about it with mum and dad, and with very close friends, but for one I feel like a complete douche, and two it just upsets me and i feel stupid, because i feel vulnerable and weak (emotionally) in a way. And I think I want to go back. But I dunno if I could go through the pain in moving away from friends again. And I dunno if my family honestly and truly would do that. And yeah, its come to a point where I need to ask for some advice..
And i feel so douchey for even writing it on here, but ah well.
If you can give me any advice that could help me, you have no idea how much it would mean to me.

I know what you are going through, I was in your place years ago. Here are some advices and I really hope it can help:

1.Start by having a few simple pictures of specific loved ones that you miss. Too many pictures can lead to too many missed memories.
2.Find an activity to do when you miss your family. Maybe paint or sew? You can always send your creation back home so a part of you will be with them. This also helps you from focusing on home too much.
3.More importantly, make sure you have a friend. You will be homesick much more often if you’re lonely. Having a friend provides a distraction from feeling bad, and it also gives you someone to talk to about it who can comfort you and make you feel better.
4.If you cannot connect with your home and are secluded keep a journal. Tell it your worries and how you have been feeling. Home is often a source of security or love. Having something to put your feelings into will help prevent missing these qualities.
5.Call Mom, Dad, Sis, Bro, Cousin, Grandma or whoever and keep in touch. It is important to accept that fact that you are outside of the household so keep your calling limited to once or twice a week. Calling too much will make you feel part of the happenings even though you’re not, and will eventually lead to more homesickness.
6.Keep a positive attitude! Think of all the great things that are happening right now. Maybe you’re away at college or starting a new life? Focus on making a new home instead of missing an old one. And if you’re only gone temporarily try to enjoy what you are experiencing now. When you return, you will not want to look back and see that all your time was spent in misery.

That is a great deal because the original came with only one Wii Motion Plus. Possibly some of the games you have can use Wii Motion Plus and most new games will use it.

I think a lot of the new wii games will be using the motion plus. I have played it at someone else’s house but I just could not get what the motion plus acually does. But in most games on resorts you HAVE to have the motion plus. It is a very fun game, I would recomend it, but I would also wait for a better deal on ebay or cragslist. I’m sure If you have time and not rushed to get it for a present or something you should wait for a better deal.

This is a debate between the PC and the Xbox 360.

I am a PC gamer at heart, though I do have an Xbox 360 for some games.

I have recently played MW2, and though I did not like the first MW, I am beginning to like this one. Unfortunately, I have a delima… I do not know which system I should get it for.

I would normally go with PC hands-down, as I do prefer a Mouse over a controller for shooters any day, and the graphics would obviously be better on the PC version, but the recent controversy over the removal of dedicated servers for the PC version is making my ambivalent. Though dedicated servers are important for PC games, getting it for the Xbox wouldn’t really solve the problem either…

However, the Xbox 360 version does have local multiplayer, and since MW2 has a high potential to be a "party game" that would be a big plus.
It should also be noted that a friend of mine plays it on the Xbox 360, and we could play together.

So, my questions for all of you:

Has anyone played the PC version? Does the (non-dedicated server) system work well, or are its flaws really enough to warrant second thought?

Will my system even run MW2 very well, or will I have to sacrifice video performance to run it well? (I’ll post my system specs in additional info shortly).

And does anyone have any strong reasons why one might be better than the other?

Any input is appreciated.

Injured wrist… how long should it take to heal?
I injured my wrist about a month ago. I was running down a sand dune, tripped, put my arms out in from of me, and fell hard! My right wrist was obviously over-extended ‘backwards’ as you’d expect if you fell in this way. It didn’t hurt immediately but later that day it became very tender.

Well it has healed somewhat since then; there wasn’t much swelling but what there was has gone, a lot of strength has come back and I can use my hand pretty normally in most ways. But it doesn’t feel 100% yet, it still feels a bit weak, and there is still pain if it’s extended in the same way as the fall.. e.g. If I got up from lying on the floor, when I thrust up with that hand it a bit painful and weak. Or if I was to do press-ups it would hurt as my hand would be in the bent backwards position.

I haven’t been to the doctor as I’ve been (and still am) travelling. Do you think it is necessary to go? What damage have I likely done, and how long should I expect it to take to heal?

From your description i can maybe guess you haven’t broken a bone because the swelling would still be there and you would be unimaginable pain, i think you could have a greenstick fracture,this is a small fracture of the bone, it can be very painful and takes a while to heal. If you are travelling and there is a risk of more damage to be done, i think you should seek medical attention, even if you have a small greenstick fracture or broken it it could get worse.

ok, iTunes has officially started to drive me insane (well, more insane than I usually am…)

1. how do I take songs off my iPod, but keep them in iTunes?

2. iTunes screwed up my Album Covers. When I downloaded the soundtrack from Bye Bye Birdie, it replaced my Evanescence album cover with it’s own… How do I fix this?!

3. As I was trying to download a CD into iTunes, it randomly stopped downloading… So I took the CD out and tried again and now it won’t finish downloading! How do I fix this?

1. You could place all the music you don’t want on your ipod on a separate playlist and don’t sync that one (when u open ur ipod on itunes, go to playlists and click which ones u dont want). Might work.

2. Right click on a track, clear downloaded artwork. Then find the one you want on the internet, right-click, get info, artwork and drag it onto the square.

3. Try deleting all the songs and starting over. MAYBE ur cd is scratched. Try ripping it onto the computer first, then transfer to ipod.
